ARTWORK & FILE PREPARATION

FILE PLATFORM FORMATS:

We are primarily a Mac based shop, but are able to translate PC files created in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

SAVING FILES:

Size: All artwork must be saved at 100% of the image size being printed. We request 300 DPI.

  • Artwork must be saved as a TIFF, PSD, EPS, AI or PNG file.
  • Illustrator art, created as vector artwork, should be saved as either an EPS or AI file
  • Photoshop files should be saved as PSD or PNG, preferably in layers
  • All fonts need to be converted to 'OUTLINE' format. This saves you from having to send the fonts as well.
  • All Pantone colors should be specified in order for you to get a more accurate print.  If you have a color copy of your artwork that you would like us to match, please send. PMS colors can also be listed on the color comp.

CD or Flash Drive

E-MAILING ART FILES:

Limited to files not exceeding 10MB. Other file sharing services can be used (e.g., www.yousendit.com) or use our client login / upload file feature (see below).

CLIENT UPLOADED FILES:

For large files, please contact us to register and receive login name and password. Once registered you’ll be able to upload files. For multiple files, place in folder and compress prior to uploading (e.g., using Zip or Stuffit)

HOURS OF OPERATION:

7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. PST - Monday through Friday

TURNAROUND TIME:

Standard turnaround time is 11-14 working days from the time we receive approved artwork. Rush Service is available at an additional Cost.

SHIPPING:

We use all major trucking lines & delivery services: Fed Ex • UPS

BLANK GARMENTS:

We have access to a number of distributors carrying brands such as: Hanes, Fruit of the Loom, Anvil, Bella, Gildan, Nike, Port Authority and American Apparel.

ORDERING INFORMATION:

SET-UP COSTS:

Screen charges are generally set at $25 to $30 per color. Film charges average out at $20 per color. Cost may vary depending of size of art.

ART CHARGES:

Our rates are $65 per hour. The more information you provide us the lower your costs will be. The typical 4 color design will require at least 1.5 to 2 hours just to separate.

PRINTING COSTS:

Since all of our work is customized to fit your needs, cost will vary based on a number of factors. Cost is affected by the quantity order, number of colors in your design and type and color of garment ordered.

TERMS OFFERED:

All new accounts are COD with a required 50% deposit. Terms are available on approved credit.

MINIMUMS:

We generally work with high volume accounts, but would be open to speaking with you about your needs.
